Evolve Therapeutic Services (ETS) is an elite squad within Child & Youth Mental Health based in Rockhampton, Emerald, and Gladstone. ETS is one of four specialised youth teams working to support young people with complex needs.
Our team comprises social workers, psychologists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, nurses, and psychiatrists, all working collaboratively to deliver intensive, trauma‐informed support to children and young people (0–18) referred through Child Safety.
About the role
As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will deliver high‐quality clinical care to children and young people facing complex mental health challenges, including assessments, creative therapy approaches, and interventions at the individual, family, and system levels.
You will manage the full clinical journey – assessment, diagnosis, treatment, follow‐up, and discharge planning – and collaborate with other professionals and services to ensure seamless and effective care.
You will advocate for clients, helping families navigate complex systems and secure necessary support while receiving guidance from a Team Manager and gaining independence as you advance.
Qualifications
* Qualified and registered in Occupational Therapy, Psychology, or Social Work, with all required paperwork.
* Solid foundation in recovery‐focused mental health care and confident in assessments, treatment planning, and case management.
* Collaborative, open to supervision, and committed to learning and growth.
* Ready to handle both routine and complex cases, and eager to expand skills.
What we offer
Total monthly remuneration value of up to $11,047 per month, comprising:
* Hourly rate between $43.68 and $58.59.
* 12.75% employer superannuation contribution.
