Clinical Pharmacy Opportunities
This role offers a unique chance to work in a supportive hospital environment and gain hands-on clinical experience.
* The Clinical Pharmacist will be responsible for delivering comprehensive clinical pharmacy services to allocated wards, including medication chart reviews, reconciliation, and documentation of allergies and adverse drug reactions.
* Timely, evidence-based advice will be provided to medical, nursing, and allied health staff on the safe and effective use of medicines.
* Patient counseling will be conducted to ensure understanding of prescribed therapies and promote medication adherence.
* The safe and ethical use of medicines will be supported, including investigational and compassionate supply medications.
* Medication-related problems will be identified and resolved in collaboration with prescribers.
Requirements
* General registration as a Pharmacist with AHPRA is essential.
* A Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent tertiary qualification is required.
* Previous experience dispensing medication in an Australian or New Zealand-based community or hospital pharmacy is necessary.
