Overview
Construction, Infrastructure & Government Advisory Partner prospect with Law Staff in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. The role is focused on advising on major government and private sector projects nationally, with emphasis on Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) and infrastructure delivery. The firm is seeking either an established Partner or a Special Counsel ready to step up, to join three Partners in the Projects & Infrastructure team.
Responsibilities
- Advise on major government and private sector projects nationally, including PPPs and infrastructure delivery.
- Lead and contribute to major transport, health, education, or energy projects.
- Manage construction contracts and provide complex advisory services.
- Oversee government procurement and tendering processes.
- Project structuring, delivery, and risk management.
- Collaborate with Partners on strategy, client relationships, and practice growth.
Qualifications & Seniority
- Senior legal professional with experience in Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) and infrastructure delivery.
- Location: Brisbane-based or open to relocation from another mid-tier or national firm.
- Expertise in at least two focus areas listed above.
- Strong relationships with State/Commonwealth Government and/or Tier 1 & Tier 2 Contractors.
- Commercial acumen, client focus, and team mentoring experience.
