Make a meaningful difference in children's early years by joining a supportive and passionate team. In this role, you'll deliver a high‐quality education and care program for children from birth to 6 years, aligned with the Early Childhood Services Philosophy, Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework and National Quality Standards. You'll work in a collaborative, child‐safe environment that values best practice and continuous improvement, with a monthly RDO, access to Banyule training, professional development and opportunities to increase hours throughout the week.

This is a rewarding full‐time opportunity to support children's learning, development and wellbeing at Morobe Street Children's Centre. As a Certificate III Early Childhood Educator, you'll provide safe, high‐quality education and care for children from birth to 6 years, with a key focus on supporting the Kinder room. You'll help increase educator support, assist children with additional care needs to participate fully in the program and extend children's learning through positive, engaging experiences. Working within a collaborative and child‐focused team, you'll contribute to a safe, inclusive environment aligned with the Early Childhood Services Philosophy and Child Safe Standards.
What You Will Do
* Provide safe, high‐quality education and care in line with the National Law, Regulations and National Quality Standards
* Support children's learning through observations, learning records and engaging program experiences
* Build positive, respectful relationships with children and families, supporting daily routines and communication
* Actively supervise children and maintain a safe, secure and child‐focused environment
* Work collaboratively with the team to support centre policies, procedures and continuous improvement
What You'll Bring/what We Are Looking For
* Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, or an equivalent qualification
* Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework, Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations, and the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework
* Ability to maintain clear written records and contribute to documentation relating to children's learning and development
* Strong organisational skills, including the ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks
* Understanding of mandatory reporting requirements and awareness of the diverse cultural needs of families
Pre‐employment Requirements
* CPR / First Aid
* Level 2 First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificates
* Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC)
* Current Working with Children's Check
We Offer
* A temporary (until 31 January 2027), full‐time role
* Salary range $70,306.14 to $73,767.30 per annum plus super (dependent on experience)
* 26 weeks of paid parental leave - primary carer / 4 weeks of paid parental leave - partner
