The Role
We're looking for a
Performance Manager
to take ownership of Flip's paid acquisition channels and support the next stage of growth across NBN and mobile.
This role is responsible for
end-to-end strategy, execution and optimisation
of all paid media channels, while working closely with the Marketing, brand, design and SEO teams to ensure paid marketing supports both
sales targets and brand growth
.
This is not a pure execution role - you'll contribute to campaign ideation, offer strategy, testing frameworks and channel mix decisions, while remaining hands-on in the platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Paid Media Ownership & Strategy
* Own and manage Flip's paid media channels including:
* Google Ads (Search, Performance Max, Display, YouTube)
* Meta (Facebook & Instagram)
* Microsoft/Bing Ads
* Other paid channels as required
* Develop and execute an
end-to-end paid marketing strategy
aligned with business objectives
- Plan, launch and optimise campaigns to drive efficient customer acquisition across NBN and mobile
Efficiency, Quality & Delivery Optimisation
* Continuously improve
media efficiency
through:
* Quality Score improvements
* Better keyword, audience and creative alignment
* Ongoing account structure and hygiene improvements
* Work closely with web development and UX teams to:
* Improve landing page performance and conversion rates
* Ensure faster iteration on CRO opportunities
* Improve overall delivery and effectiveness of all acquisition channels
* Identify and resolve friction points across the full customer journey, from ad click to conversion
Growth, Scale & Commercial Thinking
* Grow acquisition using a
LTV / CAC-led approach
, not just short-term ROAS
- Balance scale and efficiency to support
sustainable, long-term growth
- Support both
direct response and upper-funnel activity
(awareness and consideration)
- Work closely with SEO and brand teams to ensure paid and non-paid channels complement each other
- Monitor and optimise performance against CAC, LTV, volume targets and contribution margins
Creative, Campaigns & Collaboration
* Partner with designers, brand and content teams to develop effective creative and messaging
* Contribute to
campaign ideation
, product launches and promotional initiatives
- Use insights from paid performance to inform creative, landing pages and offer development
- Ensure targeting, creative and messaging are aligned across channels
Reporting & Insights
* Own performance reporting and analysis for paid marketing
* Clearly communicate results, insights and recommendations to stakeholders
* Translate data into actionable improvements across media, creative and on-site experience
What We're Looking For
Experience
* 3-6+ years experience in performance marketing or paid media roles
* Strong hands-on experience with
Google Ads and Meta
* Proven experience improving efficiency through Quality Score, CTR and CVR optimisation
* Experience in competitive digital categories;
telco or subscription experience is highly regarded
* Experience working closely with web development or CRO teams is a strong plus
