Reporting to the Project Manager, the Site Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day site operations and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to specification.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supervising site crews and subcontractors
* Coordinating daily construction activities
* Implementing project programs and short-term lookaheads
* Maintaining site safety systems and compliance with WHS requirements
* Managing plant, labour and material resources on site
* Monitoring quality of works to project specifications
* Liaising with Project Managers, Engineers and clients
* Ensuring environmental controls are maintained
* Maintaining site records including diaries, inspections and checklists
* Supporting delivery of projects on time and within budget
The ideal candidate will have:
* Previous experience supervising subdivision and road construction projects
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Ability to coordinate crews, plant and subcontractors
* Good understanding of construction sequencing and methodology
* Strong commitment to WHS, Quality and Environmental compliance
* Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
* Construction White Card (essential)
* Current driver’s licence (essential)
* Civil qualifications or tickets highly regarded
