Our client is seeking a motivated and organised Training Officer to join their team. You will be responsible for delivering practical and compliance-focused training to staff across the abattoir and cold store, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver training to staff on the production floor, in the cold store, and other areas as required.
* Develop and maintain training materials, procedures, and records.
* Ensure all staff comply with workplace health & safety and food safety standards.
* Assess employee competency and provide ongoing support to improve skills.
* Collaborate with management to identify training needs and opportunities.
Skills & Experience:
* Experience in meat processing, abattoir, or cold store environments preferred.
* Strong knowledge of occupational health & safety and food safety practices.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to work with all levels of staff and adapt training methods accordingly.
