About the Role
The Performance and Reliability Analyst monitors, analyses, and enhances the reliability, performance, and resilience of IT systems and services to ensure consistent service delivery for staff, students, and partners at UTS. The role contributes to operational excellence by applying data-driven insights to proactively identify risks, implement preventative measures, and recommend improvements to ensure systems meet agreed service levels and availability targets.
About You
As the Performance and Reliability Analyst, you will have:
* Demonstrated experience in IT Operations, a Network Operations Centre, or a similar support role within a complex enterprise environment.
* Strong hands-on experience with enterprise observability tools like New Relic, Influx DB Prometheus, and Grafana for monitoring system performance and reliability.
* Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues across various IT domains, including networking, cloud, and application performance.
* Experience with incident management processes and tools such as ServiceNow for efficient incident creation, escalation, and resolution.
* A solid understanding of foundational IT frameworks like ITIL and principles of DevOps, with a focus on applying data-driven insights to improve service delivery.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Compensation and Benefits
Base Salary Range: A$107,000.00/yr - A$119,000.00/yr
Base Salary Range (HEW 7): $107,402 to $118,813 pa
This role attracts 17% superannuation in addition to the base salary.
