Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented payroll specialist to provide vital administrative and operational support for accurate and timely payroll processing.
* Assisting with end-to-end payroll processing including liaison with external providers
* Maintaining accurate payroll records ensuring data integrity and managing compliance with legislation and regulations
* Responding to employee queries regarding pay leave deductions and supporting payroll-related onboarding/offboarding activities
* Supporting payroll reconciliations reporting and audits ensuring accuracy and timeliness
* Contributing to payroll process improvements and general administrative support to the team
About the Role:
* Demonstrated experience in payroll administration and familiarity with payroll systems e.g. SAP, ADP, Aurion etc. and Microsoft Office particularly Excel
* Understanding of employment legislation and awards
* High attention to detail accuracy and ability to manage confidential information with discretion
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively support employees and stakeholders
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing detailed analysis and recommendations to improve payroll processes
* Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless payroll operations
* Communicating complex payroll information to various stakeholders
* Identifying and resolving payroll discrepancies and issues
* Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years of payroll administration experience
* Proven track record of successful payroll processing and compliance
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively
