Clarke Energy is seeking a casual site-based Technician in Daandine to work 30 hours per week. Immediate start with days and hours negotiable. The main purpose of the position is to provide care and general maintenance of a small, decommissioned gas fired power station.
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
* Acting as the site safety manager, controlling access, and ensuring compliance with all safety procedures.
* Scheduling, managing, and documenting all contractors and approved visitors in accordance with formal procedures.
* Conducting regular site inspections and monitoring the status of control systems.
* Performing basic preventative maintenance on plant and equipment.
* Completing weekly and monthly checklists and reports.
The successful applicant will:
* Work remotely and unsupervised, demonstrating strong self-motivation
* Ideally possess a general understanding of electrical, mechanical, and computer systems.
