We are inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President, Sales Director.
In this role, you will be responsible for growing our business by pursuing new clients and managing the entire pursuit process from lead generation to contract signature.
Responsibilities
1. Deal Origination: Responsible for expanding our business with new clients across various industries.
2. Market Research: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and the competitive landscape. Use insights to shape business development strategies.
3. Pipeline Management: Maintain a consistent pipeline of opportunities aligned with the organization’s strategic focus.
4. Proposal Development: Collaborate with Business Units, Data-Tech-AI Function, and Commercial/Pricing teams to craft compelling proposals that communicate our value to potential clients.
5. Negotiation and Closing: Lead contract negotiations to reach mutually beneficial agreements. Close deals timely while meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
6. Sales Management: Keep accurate records of all business development activities and provide regular reports to senior management.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
* Experience in client-facing engagements and building relationships with C-suite executives and senior stakeholders.
* Understanding of the services landscape focused on Finance & Accounting, Supply Chain, or Financial Services, including market trends and client needs.
* Proficiency with technology tools, platforms, and systems, and understanding of AI concepts and applications relevant to the industry.
* Willingness to travel for meetings and sales activities.
Preferred Qualifications / Skills
* Previous sales or consulting experience at Genpact.
* Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and digital sales tools.
