As a Wagga Leisure Hospitality Assistant, you will provide quality hospitality service across all Council operated food and beverage venues (the Oasis Café, Jim Elphick Tennis Centre, Wagga Airport and the Livestock Marketing Centre) and assist the catering team with all internal Council events.
Positions are casual and on an as needs basis, with shifts both during the week and on weekends in accordance with rostering arrangements. Applications will be retained on file to fill vacancies within our casual pool as they arise.
* Remuneration of $36.61 gross per hour + superannuation (12%).

We Are Looking For Individuals With The Following
* Exceptional Customer Service – you go above and beyond to make every guest feel welcome and you are able to stay calm, focused and efficient during busy periods.
* Hospitality Experience – you understand café operations, food handling and presentation and are experienced in preparing food, coffee and beverages.
* Qualifications – you hold the following prior to commencement: Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate, NSW Food Handler Basics Certificate, Current First Aid Certificate and Class C Driver's Licence.
You'll Be Responsible For
* Assisting with basic food and beverage preparation, presentation and delivery.
* Providing friendly and efficient customer service.
* Handling cash and EFTPOS transactions and exercising control of point-of-sale system.
* Responsible service of alcohol.
* Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
* Assist hospitality services team to prepare for internal and external functions and events.
* Supporting the team with all other daily hospitality operations.
This role involves child-related work and is subject to NSW child protection legislation. A current NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC), issued by the NSW Office of the Children's Guardian, is required. Candidates must provide their WWCC number for verification. For further information, visit
