**Job Description**:
The opportunity to help **_Novotel Newcastle & Mercure Canberra _**evolve with the market and grow profitably has arisen. We would love to hear from you, if you:
- Optimize demand and maximize revenues through balancing strategies, practices, and tools
- With the Director of Sales and Marketing, manage rates and inventory
- Maximize opportunities on brand and third-party websites
- Develop a sales and distribution budget for the company
- Meeting budgeted and forecasted revenue goals by maximizing revenue
- Forecast demand, identify trends, and analyse opportunities
- Utilize all available tools, including travel click reports, the internet, ring rounds, shop calls, and compare actuals to expectations
**Qualifications**:
What makes you special:
- Revenue management principles are clearly understood
- GDS expertise and Opera/Fidelio property management systems
- Ability to communicate and present data effectively
- Developing cross-functional relationships (internal and external)
- A hotel environment experience is preferred
