OverviewCDC are seeking a Special Needs Transit Carer based out of our Alice Springs Depot.
This position is responsible for the care, comfort and safety of special needs students while they are travelling on the special needs school bus to and from school.ResponsibilitiesWork closely with the Bus Driver to ensure students are picked up and dropped off at their designated pick up/drop off point.Maintain a daily record of the students' travel, including student behaviour, medical issues enroute etc.Working hoursThe successful candidate must be available to commit to two split shifts daily, working 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon, school days only (average 20 hours per week).
