Project Officer (APS5 Equivalent)
Critical Role in Project Planning and Performance
Key Responsibilities:
* Contribute to the development and maintenance of project planning and performance processes.
* Assist with preparations for project test, evaluation and acceptance programs.
* Apply project management methodologies to administrative and technical activities.
* Research, draft and prepare briefs, correspondence and reports.
* Collaborate with stakeholders and provide constructive feedback.
* Adjust project management methodologies to comply with legislative and regulatory frameworks.
* Resolve problems using expertise and initiative.
* Maintain project financial records under the direction of the Project Manager.
Requirements
Portfolio, Programme and Project Support:
Provides foundational support for projects, programmes or portfolios. Assists with planning, scheduling, tracking and reporting using established tools and processes.
Financial Data and Budgeting:
Assists in gathering financial data and preparing basic budget templates under supervision. Supports the budgeting and forecasting process by completing assigned tasks.
Customer Service Support:
Acts as a routine contact point for customers, handling inquiries and service requests. Performs initial investigation and diagnosis of customer issues, resolving them where possible or escalating as needed.
