Senior Speech Pathologist
Location: Mandurah
Start: ASAP
Duration: short term assignment 2-3 months
Pay Rate: $60-66 per hour
Brief Summary: Seeking an experienced Senior Speech Pathologist to deliver advanced assessment, treatment, and coordination of services for patients with communication and swallowing disorders. Lead clinical care, supervise staff and students, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives in a dynamic healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide expert clinical assessment, intervention, and evaluation for complex cases.
* Coordinate and manage Speech Pathology services and caseloads.
* Offer clinical consultation and support to multidisciplinary teams.
* Participate in quality improvement, research, and staff development activities.
* Educate patients and carers on post-discharge management.
* Ensure documentation, compliance, and participation in departmental meetings.
Work Requirements
* Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and SPA membership.
* Proven experience with advanced clinical skills.
* Ability to coordinate services, supervise staff and students, and work within a multidisciplinary team.
* Knowledge of relevant legislation and health standards.
* Commitment to safety, quality, and ongoing professional development.

* Immediate start for a short-term period.
* Must meet all appointment prerequisites, including WWC check and criminal screening.
