About the Role
Based at the newly provisioned Charlestown Health Centre, just moments from Charlestown Square, you'll be part of the Greater Newcastle Older People's Mental Health (OPMH) community team. Our small, multidisciplinary team is co-located with Adult Community and CAMHS services, offering a collaborative and family-friendly working environment.
As a Registered Nurse, you will provide clinical case management and mental health care to:
* People generally aged over 65 years
* Aboriginal people aged over 50 years
* Individuals experiencing severe and persistent mental illness or severe behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia
You'll work closely with experienced senior staff, including an OPMH Clinical Coordinator, Clinical Director, and Clinical Nurse Consultant, who will provide ongoing clinical guidance, supervision, and professional support.
