At Access Your Supports (AYS), we believe in the power of person-centred, values-driven work. We're currently seeking a passionate Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our growing team.
This is a flexible role—work from home, at our welcoming therapy hub, and out in the community, supporting NDIS participants of all ages to live more empowered and independent lives.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you'll work directly with participants and their support teams to create meaningful, person-centred behavioural support strategies that improve quality of life and reduce restrictive practices. Your work will include:
1. Completing functional behaviour assessments
2. Developing evidence-based Behaviour Support Plans
3. Collaborating with participants, families, carers, and support teams
4. Delivering training to staff and carers on support plan implementation
5. Writing reports, letters, and NDIS documentation
6. Building strong relationships with a range of stakeholders
Why Join AYS?
1. Flexible work model – combine home-based work with time in our Geelong therapy hub and community visits
2. Ongoing paid professional development – we invest in your growth
3. Supportive, multidisciplinary team – collaborate with experienced colleagues across disciplines
4. Perks that support your wellbeing – including birthday leave, a wellbeing allowance, and weekly team lunches
5. Inclusive, values-led organisation – we champion Empowerment, Integrity, and Respect in everything we do
What We're Looking For
We're open to various backgrounds and experience levels. You may be:
1. A registered Allied Health professional (e.g., Psychologist, OT, Social Worker, Counsellor)
2. Experienced in behaviour support, disability, or early childhood intervention
3. Passionate about working in a person-centred, trauma-informed way
You'll also need:
1. Relevant qualification in Allied Health or Human Services
2. Current registration with AHPRA or relevant body
3. A cleared WWCC and NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
