Chubb Bunbury is seeking an Electrician/Fire Alarm Technician to provide product support and technical services within the Fire industry in the South West region.
The Fire Systems Business maintains a firm commitment to the quality objectives for the company and promotes business through exceptional customer service and relationships. As a Fire Alarm Technician, you will be required to install, service, maintain and install fire detection and gaseous systems within the South West area for numerous clients in both the commercial and industrial sectors.
We are looking for someone who is committed to customer service, teamwork and adapting to the role quickly – potentially working in a new industry. Full training will be provided but you may come from a similar background or have trade experience that would complement this role, but your attitude will play a large part in your application and your success.

About the Role
This role will be part of our team based out of our Bunbury office. Reporting into the manager, you will help service fire alarm systems on site. The Electrical Technician will be servicing, testing and/or programming fire panels, cabling, alarm systems and associated equipment on our clients’ sites. You will contribute by:
* Surveying customer premises and recommend fire protection and safety systems and equipment, in accordance with Chubb Fire & Security procedures and processes.
* Identify, test, service, and repair fire protection and safety systems and equipment in accordance Chubb Fire & Security procedures and processes.
* Complete and provide evidence of maintenance performed on equipment in an accurate and legible manner, using systems including Field Services handheld technology.
* Comply with all company policies, procedures, and processes.
About You
* Experience working as an Electrical Technician/Fire Alarm Technician in the Fire Protection industry
* Current Electrical licence
* Unrestricted work rights
* Current Driver’s licence
* Current ACMA Cabling licence
* FPA Extinguishing Agent Handling License
* Possessing a sound technical knowledge of AS1670, AS4214 and AS1851.Computer Skills
* Fire Detection System Programming Skills.
* System Commissioning Capabilities.
* Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
* Able to undergo a pre-employment medical and police check.
* A sound knowledge of the applicable Australian Standards relevant to Fixed Systems fire protection equipment
* A Fire Protection Accreditation Scheme accreditation is ideal, but not mandatory
* EAHL is ideal, but not mandatory
* Great attitude and willingness to deliver for our customer and client base
