About the role
Calvary Launceston is seeking a friendly and welcoming person to join our Supply Department. As a Supply Officer, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless flow of essential supplies and equipment throughout both St Vincent's and St Luke's hospitals.
With your organisational prowess and attention to detail, you'll manage inventory levels, coordinate orders, and maintain accurate records, ensuring our healthcare professionals have the resources they need to provide outstanding patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure goods received against goods ordered are correct
Signing all associated delivery documentation
Follow up any discrepancies with suppliers
Ensure goods requiring inspection for safety are taken to maintenance
Deliver goods within a reasonable time after receipt
What you bring
Ensure a high standard of internal and external customer service in all areas
In consultation with department managers ensure adequate stocks are maintained in the imprest stores
To carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by the Supply Manager
Comply with relevant Calvary WHS policies, procedures, work instructions and requests
A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
Valid Australian work rights and WWVP Tasmanian clearance
