Accounts Officer

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Officer to manage daily operations, including accounts payable and receivable tasks. The role will work closely with the Finance Officer and Finance Business Partner to achieve financial objectives.

* Data entry of supplier invoices
* Matching purchase orders to invoices
* Reconciliation of AP statements
* Procurement/supplier process review
* Processing monthly payment runs
* Manage claims
* Process remittance advice Credit control - debtors & creditors
* Banking requirements
* End of month accounting tasks
* Customer Support
* Answer incoming calls

Requirements:

* 2+ years experience in Accounts Payable or Receivable position
* A relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or Bookkeeping preferred
* Knowledge of agriculture industry highly regarded
* Advanced use of Word, Powerpoint, Excel & Outlook
* Experience in use of Sage X3 & cloud documents
* A proven ability to meet deadlines
* Current Police Check

Benefits:

This is a temporary full-time role for up to 6 months on casual pay, working with a reputable business based in Shepparton. After 6 months, there is the possibility of moving within the business as a more permanent candidate.
