Risk & Compliance Officer
Location: Mayfield | Salary: $70k to $75k pa + access to Salary Packaging benefits.
We are looking for a passionate, detail‐oriented individual who can support Castle's operational functions, maintain system frameworks, and help staff work safely and effectively.

As a Risk & Compliance Officer, you'll bring your experience in governance and quality practices to support Castle's operational functions. You'll help maintain the systems that underpin our frameworks, assist staff with system use, and ensure our organisation continues to deliver safe, compliant, and effective services.
You'll Use Your Background To
* Be a trusted go‐to person for staff.
* Support frontline teams by coordinating service needs and offering practical guidance.
* Play an active role in rolling out new policies, procedures and improvement projects.
* Create clear, professional reports and communications, and keep documentation and systems organised.
* Empower colleagues by supporting their workplace technology use and contributing ideas.
* Build positive working relationships across the organisation while communicating clearly, resolving issues and escalating when needed.
* Help staff achieve great outcomes with inclusive and respectful interactions.
* Lead by example in professionalism, accountability and safe work practices, contributing to a culture that aligns with Castle's values.
* Spot opportunities to improve processes, support risk assessments and champion smarter, safer ways of working.
* Prioritise safety by following WHS procedures, reporting hazards promptly and participating in training and wellbeing initiatives.
What You'll Need To Succeed
We're looking for someone detail‐oriented, proactive and motivated by doing things the right way, who understands that good compliance makes great service possible.
* 3-5 years' experience in a risk and compliance setting or in a closely aligned role.
* Certificate IV in a relevant field.
* Ability to analyse and interpret data across multiple systems within the disability industry or similar.
* Ability to interpret and apply relevant legislative requirements and organisational standards.
* Experience coaching and training others.
* Demonstrated capability in system administration and maintenance.
* Strong organisational and project support skills.
* Excellent communication skills and a flexible, solutions‐focused approach.
Essential Requirements
* Current driver licence or reliable transport.
* Willingness to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check.
