The opportunity:
You'll report to the Head of ER & Safety (as part of a large, established and highly respected legal function) and act as the
subject matter expert
on employment and ER issues.
That means:
Advising on complex ER matters - performance, investigations, redundancies, grievances
Representing the business in courts and tribunals
Coaching and supporting HR leaders in the business to manage ER risks
Helping shape ER frameworks, policies and systems
Staying across case law and legislation to keep the business proactive
Who we're looking for:
4+ years' PAE as an employment lawyer (current practising certificate)
Strong knowledge of workplace law and ER best practice
Advocacy experience in courts/tribunals
Confident working autonomously, but collaborative with HR and business leaders
