Chief Wellbeing Officer
Role Overview
We are seeking an exceptional leader to drive transformative change in student wellbeing across the institution. As our Chief Wellbeing Officer, you will provide strategic leadership for mental health, safety, disability, and inclusion, positioning us as a national leader in student support and community care.
This executive role is critical to delivering an integrated approach to wellbeing, where services such as counselling, accessibility, safer communities, and chaplaincy are aligned under a shared mission of empowerment and equity.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide visionary leadership for mental health, safety, disability, and inclusion initiatives
* Position us as a national leader in student support and community care through strategic partnerships and collaborations
* Demonstrate expertise in wellbeing issues relating to university students, including evidence-based and trauma-informed clinical practice, equity, and inclusion
* Develop and implement frameworks and strategies for health promotion, prevention, and wellbeing related to university issues
Requirements:
* Expert knowledge of wellbeing issues relating to university students
* Postgraduate qualifications or equivalent in relevant area (psychology, or an area relevant to mental health)
* Registration or eligibility for registration with an appropriate professional association and extensive relevant experience
* Blue Card and current Registration with AHPRA or AASW
