The Company
This major infrastructure and energy services contractor delivers large-scale projects across the Oil & Gas, water, and natural resources sectors, working closely with some of Australia's biggest energy providers. With long-term contracts across the Surat Basin and a strong reputation for safety, delivery and operational excellence, they continue to invest heavily in their people and projects. Due to continued project demand, they are now looking to appoint a Plant, Equipment & Logistics Supervisor to oversee plant, warehouse and heavy vehicle operations across site.
The Role
In this role you will be responsible for leading warehouse, plant and logistics operations across a large-scale field project environment. You will oversee the movement, maintenance and compliance of critical equipment, while ensuring operational readiness for upcoming work packages.
This is a hands‐on leadership role where you will coordinate heavy vehicle schedules, manage preventative maintenance programs, oversee laydown yard operations and drive strong safety and continuous improvement across the team. You will also act as a technical advisor for mechanical repairs, liaising with third party fitters to ensure compliance across all plant and equipment.
Duties
* Lead operations for plant, equipment and critical spares
* Coordinate heavy vehicle movements and daily driver schedules
* Forward plan tools, consumables and material availability for upcoming works
* Onboard new plant and equipment, ensuring supplier coordination and compliance
* Manage laydown yard organisation and equipment storage
* Oversee preventative maintenance activities using third‐party fitters
Requirements
* Background in Oil & Gas, Chemical Processing, Mining or similar heavy industry
* Trade qualification & Construction Card
* Fatigue Risk Management experience
* Strong leadership and team management capability
* Proven experience in planning, logistics coordination and resource allocation
