What You'll Be Doing
- Deliver engaging, safe, and supportive swim instruction using our lesson plans
- Cultivate a fun learning environment that reinforces safety and progress
- Interact professionally with children, parents, and caregivers
- Support your team and refer program enquiries to your supervisor
Placement Opportunity
Have you recently completed your Swim School Teacher course but need to log your placement hours? We’ve got you! Let us support your career development with real, hands-on teaching experience.
What We're Looking For
- Certifications (or in progress, if applying for placement):
- Austswim Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety (or equivalent)
- Current CPR & First Aid certification
- Paid Working with Children Check
And You
- Thrive in a casual role with versatile availability
- Can teach across some of these times:
- Morning shifts: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday
- Afternoons/evenings: Monday–Friday
- Communicate clearly, supportively, and positively
- Value diversity and uphold the National Child Safe Standards
- Enjoy being part of a team that makes a real difference
