- Participate in all aspects of software development, including design, implementation, code reviews, deployment, testing, and support
- Focus on the long‑term company and customer success – support your colleagues and write code that will stand the test of time
- Independently work on new services or features and influence the tech stack we use
- Collaborate with Product, Growth, and other teams

Task & responsibilities
- Develops clean, maintainable, and scalable systems by applying strong programming skills, effective debugging, and sound design with data‑driven trade‑off decisions
- Manages a technical domain end‑to‑end, identifying and delivering improvements
- Leads adoption of new practices, architectures, or technologies
- Collaborates closely with Product to create specs and estimates
- Leads prioritisation discussions using data to justify trade‑offs
- Leads resolution of urgent issues, regardless of direct ownership
- Suggests and implements process or technical changes that improve efficiency across the business
- Fosters team alignment, transparent decisions, and continuous learning
Qualification & experience
- You have proven experience building large‑scale software applications, and understand the balance of providing speed and quality in your work
- Advanced knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript, React, SQL and Node.js
- Experience with AWS services, including Lambda, DynamoDB, Eventbridge, CDK
- Experience in unit/integration testing
- Ability to leverage automation and infrastructure‑as‑code, integrating testing and reliability practices
- Ability to grasp technical concepts and communicate them to non‑technical stakeholders
- Solid communication and collaboration skills
- Experience in FinTech or SaaS startup environments is highly regarded
