Event Coordinator Opportunity
The position of Event Coordinator involves managing and developing fundraising events. The focus is on creating a program of internally generated and community-developed events that meet the needs of the organization.
This role requires coordination, management, and oversight of various aspects including event instigation, delivery, and stewardship. It also involves developing relationships with service organizations, maintaining donor and sponsor connections, and ensuring effective collaboration with colleagues.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting and running events
* Oversight and support for volunteers operating the Volunteer Shop
* Developing and maintaining relationships with service organizations
* Maintaining and growing relationships with the fundraising team
Essential qualifications and skills include:
* Qualifications or equivalent experience in events, fundraising, communications, marketing, or a related field
* Experience in implementing and monitoring multiple events concurrently
* Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with regional communities desirable
* Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills
