**Procurement Manager - Energy Storage - Melbourne - Huge Growth Potential**

**About the role**
As Manager, Sourcing and Procurement you will manage the regional sourcing and procurement process from initial supplier outreach and selection through to final qualification. You will be responsible for several key commodities sourced “in region” such as mechanical assemblies, electro-mechanical drive systems, electronics, and construction related equipment. You will manage the relationships with suppliers through the purchasing and delivery of key components needed for our energy storage solutions. Leveraging your engineering background, you will also collaborate regularly with your technical colleagues at Energy Vault to understand our energy storage systems and requirements. You will also utilize your knowledge of industry trends for commodities and more specialized parts and machinery to optimize the overall costs of our storage solutions.
**Duties**
- Manage the contractual/commercial interface with the clients and customers
- Procurement, supply chain, and vendor management
- Identify cost-saving measures in the procurement supply chain
- Negotiate and register with new and existing suppliers
- Liaise with local and international internal stake holders - development team, sales, technical, delivery, O&M;
- Undertake commercial negotiations and market analysis
**Skills and Experience**
- Tertiary qualification within relevant engineering or commercial discipline
- Previous experience in renewables, energy, utilities, or related field
- Strong commercial, negotiation, and technical acumen
- Passionate about Australia's renewable energy future
