About the Role
This Territory Manager position offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to driving business growth. As a key member, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of accounts within a designated region. Your primary objective is to build strong relationships with customers, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions to ensure exceptional experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
* Account Management: Develop and maintain strategic plans for acquiring new business opportunities while nurturing existing customer relationships.
* Sales Performance: Achieve monthly sales targets in all categories by identifying new opportunities, providing insights from the field, and exceeding performance targets.
* Territory Analysis: Monitor and maintain existing customers, increasing Valvoline's product range of business, and analyzing accounts for gross profit, client usage, and follow-ups with amortized accounts.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you will require:
* Excellent Relationship Building and Negotiation Skills: Ability to develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key accounts.
* Previous Experience: Proven experience in a territory, account management, or B2B sales role, preferably in the automotive or lubricants industry.
* Strong Business Acumen: Excellent understanding of the industry, market trends, and competitor analysis.
