Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Advisor to join our team.
Human Resources Advisors play a vital role in supporting an organization's workforce by providing guidance and expertise in various HR-related matters. They work closely with hiring managers, employees, and other stakeholders to ensure effective recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, benefits administration, employee engagement, HR policies and compliance, onboarding and offboarding, data management and reporting, employee communication, and legal compliance.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Recruitment and staffing: Collaborating with hiring managers to define job requirements and qualifications, creating job descriptions and posting them on relevant job boards, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and facilitating the hiring process.
* Employee relations: Mediating and resolving conflicts between employees, addressing workplace issues and concerns, implementing and enforcing HR policies and procedures.
* Performance management: Developing and implementing performance appraisal systems, providing guidance on goal-setting and performance improvement plans, conducting performance reviews and offering feedback to employees.
* Training and development: Identifying training needs within the organization, coordinating and delivering training programs, monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of training initiatives.
* Benefits administration: Managing employee benefits programs, such as health insurance and retirement plans, assisting employees with benefit-related inquiries, ensuring compliance with legal requirements related to employee benefits.
* Employee engagement: Developing and implementing initiatives to enhance employee morale and satisfaction, conducting employee surveys and analyzing feedback, organizing team-building activities and events.
* HR policies and compliance: Keeping abreast of labor laws and regulations, developing and updating HR policies to ensure compliance, advising management on legal and regulatory issues related to HR.
* Onboarding and offboarding: Facilitating the onboarding process for new hires, conducting exit interviews and analyzing turnover trends, managing the offboarding process, including exit procedures and documentation.
* Data management and reporting: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records, generating HR reports and analytics for management, ensuring data privacy and confidentiality.
* Employee communication: Facilitating effective communication between management and employees, disseminating important information, updates, and announcements, managing internal communication channels.
* Legal compliance: Ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations, handling issues related to discrimination, harassment, and other legal matters.
* Workplace culture and diversity: Promoting a positive workplace culture, supporting diversity and inclusion initiatives, implementing programs to foster a diverse and inclusive environment.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. You must stay informed about changes in employment laws and industry trends to effectively contribute to the organization's success.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Human Resources or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in HR-related roles. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions
This is a full-time position based in Perth City, Australia. The estimated annual salary range is $65,000 - $75,000 AUD.
