We are seeking an experienced and motivated Almond Farm Manager to lead operations at our large and expanding almond orchard in the Mildura region.
This is a rare opportunity to take responsibility for over 1,400 acres of established almond orchards while also contributing to future expansion and new planting programs.
The successful candidate will play a key leadership role in managing farm operations, supervising staff, and ensuring the orchard achieves high productivity, efficiency, and long-term sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage day-to-day operations of the almond orchard
· Lead and coordinate farm staff and contractors
· Plan and oversee irrigation, fertigation, pest and disease management
· Manage harvesting operations and logistics
· Monitor orchard performance to maximise yield and quality
· Assist with new orchard developments and expansion planting
· Maintain farm machinery, infrastructure, and operational systems
· Ensure compliance with workplace safety and environmental standards
Qualifications & Experience
· Minimum 3 years experience in the almond industry in a management role
· Strong leadership and communication skills
· Sound knowledge of orchard operations including irrigation and crop protection
· Ability to plan seasonal farm activities and manage teams efficiently
· Must be legally eligible to live and work in Australia
