Description
We are seeking a Trainee Electrical As-built Draftsperson who will provide a crucial role in turning conceptual ideas into detailed technical drawings, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project requirements. You will work closely with our design teams, teaching and developing your knowledge from a trainee to an individual producing as-built documentation for underground electrical projects within the Victorian Electrical Distribution Network. This role requires participation in design meetings with contribution of technical details where required. You will be proficient in AutoCAD, have strong attention to detail, and possess excellent communication skills.
Experience and Qualifications:
1. Knowledge of and proficient in the use of AutoCAD - (AutoCAD Certification preferred).
2. Understanding of technical drawing principles, including dimensioning and scaling is advantageous
3. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
4. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
5. Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with different departments.
6. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
7. Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
8. Experience with 3D modelling software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks) is a plus.
9. Familiarity with other CAD software or BIM tools is an advantage.
