The core purpose of this role is to analyse and improve engineering technologies and apply them in the testing and implementation of engineering projects. This position supports poly pipe manufacturing operations by researching, adapting, and applying innovative engineering solutions to enhance production efficiency, ensure compliance with industry standards, and drive practical improvements in process optimisation and equipment performance.

Task & Responsibilities
* Apply engineering principles and technologies to test, commission, and optimise poly pipe production lines, including extrusion and welding systems.
* Research, identify, and recommend new manufacturing technologies (e.g., extrusion, welding, quality control systems) to support production and engineering activities.
* Adapt and modify existing manufacturing processes or equipment to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
* Provide technical expertise to production, maintenance, and quality teams to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing challenges.
* Conduct trials and performance tests on new materials, machinery, or process changes to evaluate their impact on production output and product standards.
* Translate engineering theory into practical solutions for manufacturing technologies and ensure compliance with relevant safety, environmental, and industry standards.
* Support continual improvement initiatives through applied engineering technologies and technical problem-solving.
Qualification & Experience
* Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Engineering Technology or equivalent qualification
* Strong understanding of engineering principles, design software (CAD) and industry standards
* Excellent ability to identify, analyse and solve complex technical problems
* Excellent Communication Skills
