The Role

The Handyperson is responsible for performing basic maintenance tasks and providing assistance to all trade staff. This is not limited to other designated duties on the Prince of Wales Campus and associated outer medical health service centres within portfolio.

* Demonstrated handyperson experience in maintenance of large building complexes and facility maintenance.
* Demonstrated skills of use of a variety of tools and equipment, installation of minor fixtures and fittings, general building maintenance and repairs and moving of furniture and equipment.
* Demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision with proven ability to complete minor maintenance tasks.
* Proven ability to work and cooperate with a multidisciplinary team of trade, non-trade, and contract staff to efficiently deliver maintenance services.
* Able to demonstrate good organisational and time management skills with the ability to work with minimal supervision while following safe work practices.
* Current NSW Drivers Licence with willingness to travel in accordance with position requirements.
