About the role
We have an enticingresidential Process Technician – Utilitiesposition awaiting you at the world class KCGM Operation that boasts a +10-year mine life.
Join our esteemed technical team on the convenience of a7/7 (12-hour days)roster.
Responsibilities
Complete general housekeeping duties including hosing to maintain the process plant to a high standard.
Replenish portable reagent stocks to ensure continuous supply for optimum gold recovery.
Undertake shutdown preparation duties – cleaning of chutes, hoppers, cells and launders to prepare equipment for shutdown maintenance tasks and inspections; conduct cleaning out of CIL Tanks for maintenance readiness.
Set up mobile pumps as required in bundled areas and sumps wells; conduct regular daily operational checks to ensure safe operation.
Evacuate rubbish bins and assist with mercury waste storage and disposal.
Provide input to regular revisions of Work Instructions to keep them reflective of required work.
Comply with all reasonable and lawful instructions consistent with your contract of employment.
Demonstrate a clear commitment to safety and health; seek to eliminate or control risks of injury and/or equipment damage.
Participate proactively in OHS improvement processes and inspect work areas for safety, equipment operation, housekeeping and cleanliness.
Qualifications
Experience: Developed written and verbal communication skills; mechanical aptitude.
Certificates: Confined Space Entry Certificate; High Risk Licence – Forklift (Desired); Working at Heights Certificate (Desired).
