Plant Mechanic – Field Service (Tamworth)
Location: Tamworth, NSW, AU
Reporting to the Field Service Supervisor, you will provide diagnostic support to a range of CAT machinery and ensure that all repairs, preventative maintenance, and inspections meet Caterpillar standards. Using your CAT expertise, you will guarantee work is conducted to a high level with a safety‐conscious mindset and ensure breakdown solutions result in minimal downtime of machines.
Roster and Remuneration
* Roster: 12.5‐Hour Shifts, 7/7 (4 days on, 3 nights on, 7 off)
* Shift Times: Day Shift 06:00‐18:30 / Night Shift 18:00‐06:30
* Potential earnings up to $200k + Super
Skills & Experience
* Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent
* Australian Recognised Certificate of Proficiency (COP) & Transcripts
* Familiar with Caterpillar Equipment
* OEM Experience (highly desirable)
* Exposure to SIS or ET (highly desirable)
* Excellent diagnostic and repair skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work autonomously in the field and in a team
* Current driver's licence
