About Pyramid Residential Care Centre:
Pyramid Residential Care Centre is a charitable organisation developed by community, for the benefit of community. As a not-for-profit organisation, our facility financially depends on its own fundraising activities, residents' contributions and Commonwealth Government subsidies.
The Centre is a custom designed and built facility, offering 83 high care needs beds for residents. Located 20 minutes south of Cairns in Gordonvale.
PRCC has recently expanded our residential care accommodation at the Centre with significant investment being made into our facility's infrastructure, our team and the quality of our service. It is a very exciting and challenging time to be involved

About the Position
We are looking to attract a career-minded human resources practitioner to fill the position of Manager People, Safety & Culture in our leadership team.
Operationally, the position will provide an effective advisory and support service to managers and staff while ensuring human resources management systems are adhered to and meet regulatory compliance and industry best practice principles.
More broadly, this role will bring technical savvy, and innovative thinking to the leadership team in developing strategy to build PRCCs reputation as an employer of choice in what is currently a very challenging labour market.
About You
First and foremost, we are looking for a team member A person that will join us in our mission. A person that will bring the skills we need to help us develop our people and our people management processes. A person that will support us in reaching our potential.
Ideally, you will have proven experience as a HR professional successfully supporting and advising staff and management on complex HR matters at a senior level. You will also have a sound understanding of the administration and application of WH&S management systems.
Alternately, you have a proven commitment to the HR profession, you are able to demonstrate significant administrative skills and technical knowledge required of a HR Manager position, and you are looking to take that next step in your career.
You will be able to demonstrate an ability to support the Centre in developing and complying with the Human Resources and Work Health and Safety components of the new Aged Care Quality Standards.
Although not essential, your relevant experience within the Aged Care or Health Care sector will be highly regarded.
