We are a small but busy law firm in Darwin city.
We are seeking a Legal Secretary/Receptionist with availability for an immediate start.
Responsibilities
* Reception duties: answering and directing calls, booking appointments, managing clients and guests.
* Managing the office area: keeping the reception area clean, organised, and presentable. Ensuring that the necessary office supplies are available.
* Confidentiality and discretion: maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Exercise professionalism and discretion when dealing with confidential matters related to staff and the firm.
* Assisting legal practice team with various administration tasks including liaising with clients, document compilation and preparation of basic correspondence, file opening and management, scheduling appointments and diary management.
* Any other ad hoc duties as required.
Qualifications
* Prior legal experience is not essential, but highly regarded (on the job training provided).
* Accurate and fast typing skills.
* A flexible, enthusiastic and positive attitude.
* Immaculate presentation.
* A polite and professional phone manner.
* High attention to detail.
* Exceptional Microsoft Office skills, LEAP a bonus.
