Business Development Manager- Capital Raising& Investor Relations
In this role, you will work closely with the founder and executive management team to build and nurture a network of sophisticated investors. Your primary responsibility will be to source, engage, and maintain relationships with high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and seasoned investors, raising capital for fund investments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Investor Engagement: Source and engage with high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and sophisticated investors, leveraging both leads provided and your existing network.
* Network Development: Build a strong network of investors, presenting fund opportunities and converting leads into active investors. A pre-established network with a history of investment sharing is highly preferred.
* Marketing & Strategy Input: Contribute to the development of marketing strategies aimed at attracting new investors, including assisting in the creation of marketing materials and pitch documents.
* Presentations & Meetings: Lead investor meetings and presentations, effectively communicating the value of fund investment opportunities.
* CRM Management: Accurately maintain and track all sales activities within the CRM system to ensure a comprehensive record of investor interactions.
* Investor Onboarding Support: Collaborate with the fund administrator to facilitate the investor onboarding process, acting as the primary contact for investor inquiries and ensuring timely, professional responses.
* Industry Representation: Represent the company at industry events and investor-focused gatherings to engage with existing and prospective investors.
* Investor Relations Support: Strengthen investor relationships and retention by assisting the management team with high-quality investor communications and ongoing support.
Qualifications & Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience in capital raising, investor relations, and business development
* Ideally you'll have an existing network of contacts from which you can raise capital
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
* Proven track record in meeting fundraising targets and KPIs
* Knowledge of AFSL compliance and regulatory requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field
