As a seasoned leader in grounds and maintenance, you have the opportunity to oversee the upkeep of public open spaces and lead a dedicated team to deliver exceptional results.
About the Role
* Maintain all public open space areas as per site plans with meticulous attention to detail.
* Effectively mentor and guide your team to ensure seamless execution of tasks.
* Undertake garden bed and landscaped area upkeep, including pruning, weeding, fertilising, mulching, hedging, and replanting.
* Perform routine general maintenance and repairs across resident and guest accommodation.
* Respond to resident maintenance queries and coordinate with external contractors when required.
* Ensure tools and equipment are properly serviced, repaired, and tracked in a comprehensive maintenance register.
* Maintain community cleanliness, including emptying bins and ensuring pool areas (if applicable) remain spotless.
* Model professional behaviour towards residents, guests, and colleagues at all times.
* Be available for overnight and weekend shifts as scheduled.
Your Skills and Qualifications
* Previous experience in grounds or maintenance roles, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
* Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to effectively guide a small team.
* Hold a current 'C' class driver's licence.
* Possess strong time management, attention to detail, and customer service focus.
* Comfortable working flexible hours, including weekends and overnight shifts as needed.
* Team player with a proactive and hands-on approach to work.
