Job Description:
BJM Group Australia is seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Supervisor to lead day-to-day front-of-house operations in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring exceptional food and beverage service, maintaining high service standards, and supporting the team to deliver outstanding customer experiences across restaurant and bar operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant and bar operations
Lead, train, and motivate food and beverage staff
Ensure excellent customer service and handle customer feedback professionally
Oversee food and beverage service, including cocktails and bar service
Monitor service quality, presentation, and compliance with company standards
Manage staff rosters, breaks, and shift coverage
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, WHS, and RSA requirements
Assist with stock control, ordering, and inventory management
Support management with opening and closing procedures
Assist with events, functions, and busy service periods as required
Skills and Experience:
Minimum 2 years' experience as a Restaurant Supervisor or similar role in a fast-paced restaurant
Strong knowledge of food and beverage service, cocktails, and bar operations
Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage busy services efficiently
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
High standards of personal presentation and professionalism
Mandatory Requirements:

Valid RSA Certificate (Australian standard)

Food Safety Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
•
Right to work in Australia

Willingness to work full-time, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
