About Our Client
Our client operates a large facility that recycles construction and demolition (C&D;) waste, transforming it into high-quality products like sand, fill, and road base for current building and infrastructure projects. By processing waste into reusable materials, the company supports acircular economy, reducing the amount of material sent to landfill, minimising the need for new quarrying, and creating sustainable alternatives for the construction industry in Brisbane.
Duties
As a Labourer, your duties will include:
- Shovelling out dirt and other materials around machinery and conveyor belts
- Complete general maintenance
- Heavy lifting
- Ensure walkways are kept clean and swept
- General tidying and up keep on site cleanliness
Shift Structure
Day shift – 6am to 2:30pm
Afternoon shift – 2:30pm to 10pm
Requirements
- Driver's License and vehicle
- Comfortable working in dirty environments
- Physically fit
- Able to pass a drug and alcohol screening
