ABOUT THE ROLE

This role is a Permanent position on a 9-day fortnight roster, DIDO to Worsley Alumina DIDO based at the Worsley Refinery near Collie. Reporting to the Superintendent Maintenance, the role of Mobile Equipment Supervisor is responsible to lead a Maintenance crew within an operation area or in a specialized discipline over the entire operation and ensure maintenance activities are safely executed against schedules, plans, and specified standards. This role will be offered on a Permanent basis.

Other key responsibilities include, but aren't limited to:

• Adherence to the statutory obligations and responsibilities involved with being a Section44 appointed supervisor.
• Some experience with the operation of Mobile Cranes.
• Ability to coordinate complex dynamic plans.
• Experience in Contractor Management.
• Verify production execution employees and contractors adhere to work standards, are competent, and understand the purpose and functionality of critical controls relevant to their work.
• Provide day-to-day leadership, expertise and direction to a Maintenance. Execution team within an operation area as per South32's Leadership Accountability Model.

ABOUT YOU

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

• Currently holds or can be appointed a Section 44 General Appointment.
• Holds a recognised trade qualification or possesses significant supervisory experience in a maintenance environment.
• Ability to multi‐task, problem solve and manage competing priorities.
