About the Role
ACT Mobile Locksmith is seeking an Admin Assistant to join our team for a part-time evening shift, 2pm - 8pm, Monday - Friday. (The start time can be arranged to be slightly later to accommodate a school pickup run if required.)
This position can be a work-from-home position for the right candidate.
Duties will include:
* Answer incoming phone calls and emails, providing professional and courteous responses to customer inquiries
* Schedule appointments and manage the locksmith's schedules
* Dispatch technicians to jobs efficiently
* Handle general customer communication and follow-ups
* Perform light administrative tasks such as data entry and maintaining customer records
Requirements & Qualifications:
* Excellent phone etiquette and strong communication skills
* Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a busy environment
* Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
* Previous administrative or customer service experience required
* Experience in a trade or service business (e.g., locksmith, plumbing, electrical) is a strong advantage but not mandatory.
* Experience with ServiceM8 job platform is a strong advantage, but not mandatory
* Ability to pass a police background check
