Duties
Conduct field surveys to measure and map land features, boundaries, and structures
Operate and maintain survey equipment, including GPS, total stations, and data collectors
Analyze survey data and prepare detailed reports, maps, and drawings
Interpret Deposited Plans (DP), Land Titles, and 88B instruments
Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and project managers on design and construction projects
Perform calculations related to elevation, distance, and angles
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal surveying regulations
Maintain accurate records and documentation of survey data
Assist with CAD drafting and GIS mapping as required
Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures while in the field
About You
Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics Engineering, or TAFE equivalent
Relevant certifications (e.g., Licensed Surveyor) and professional memberships (e.g., SSSI)
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites
Minimum 5 years' experience in cadastral or construction surveying
Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
