Floristry Leader
This leadership role demands a high level of expertise, coupled with exceptional interpersonal skills, to successfully execute and drive a culture of respect and customer service excellence. The Floristry Leader oversees the horticultural delivery of Canberra's iconic Floriade event in collaboration with relevant authorities, directing and mentoring a team of horticultural professionals to maintain and enhance Canberra's town and district parks and floral displays.
* Prior experience in horticulture or related fields (e.g. Landscape Architecture, Agriculture)
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
* A valid driver's license
* A completed workplace health and safety induction or willingness to obtain an equivalent certification
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of horticultural principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills. They will be responsible for developing and implementing effective strategies to achieve outstanding results, while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
