About the Media and Communications Team
The Media and Communications Team is a key component of the Office of the CEO and is responsible for the effective leadership and delivery of communications and public relations. The team supports optimum brand recognition and enhanced engagement with stakeholders, players, grants customers and the Western Australian community.
About the Role
Reporting to the Manager, Stakeholder Communications, the Stakeholder Communications Officer supports the development and implementation of communications strategies and engagement plans that foster staff engagement and a positive organisational culture. The role contributes to the delivery of high‐quality internal communications and engagement activities to support business objectives.
Key Focus Areas
* Internal communications planning and delivery
* Stakeholder engagement
* Analysis and evaluation of communication strategies for continuous improvement
* Event coordination and management
* Digital content creation, including video and photography
* Development of written content for internal communications
Key Responsibilities
* Support the development and delivery of internal communications strategies that align with overarching business objectives.
* Develop and implement communications and stakeholder engagement plans that contribute to organisational goals.
* Produce engaging written and digital content for internal audiences across multiple channels.
* Assist with the coordination and delivery of internal events and engagement activities.
* Monitor, analyse and report on the effectiveness of communications activities to inform continuous improvement.
About You
You will bring strong communication skills, a collaborative approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‐paced environment. Experience in internal communications, stakeholder engagement or a similar role—ideally within a complex or public sector organisation—will be highly regarded.
