Overview
We are seeking an experienced Accountant with a robust background in Property to join a well-established and highly regarded property developer with an impressive track record of delivering large-scale developments and an active pipeline ahead. This is a rare opportunity to become the trusted Accountant to both the business and its high-net-worth founder, taking full ownership of the finance function.

The role
- End-to-end accounting across multiple entities, trusts, and investments using Xero
- AP/AR, reconciliations, journals, and month-end processing
- Payroll and superannuation compliance
- BAS & IAS preparation and lodgement (with external accountant)
- Management reporting: P&L;, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and budgets
- Cash flow forecasting and monitoring
- Overseeing investment reporting, personal finance admin and private property costs
- Acting as the trusted financial right-hand to the MD with complete independence
What You Bring
- Solid accounting experience in property (development, real estate, construction, or investments)
- 5+ years in an all-round, hands-on accounting role
- Strong Xero skills and ability to manage multiple entities
- Excellent reconciliation, compliance and reporting abilities
- Self-sufficient, detail-driven, and discreet
- Professional communicator who can work closely with a HNW founder
- CPA not required – proven experience, reliability, and independence are key
