VALE Partners have been engaged by an established, Australian-owned technology company to find a Senior Frontend Engineer to help shape and strengthen their client-side architecture.

Role Overview
* Build and maintain frontend features in React and TypeScript, working closely with a UX designer to translate thoughtful designs into clean, well-structured components that hold up over time
* Lead the consolidation of a mixed frontend stack toward a consistent, modern approach using React and Next.js, shaping the strategy, not just executing it
* Improve frontend tooling, build processes and development workflows, and help define the standards and patterns that the broader engineering team will follow
* Mentor other engineers and collaborate with the team on API design and data flows, acting as a technical anchor for frontend quality and decision-making across the platform
What You'll Ideally Have
* Strong experience with React and TypeScript in production environments, with a solid understanding of modern frontend tooling, build systems and the full frontend lifecycle from development through to deployment
* A track record of improving frontend codebases in a meaningful way, not just shipping features, but leaving things more maintainable than you found them
* Experience making and communicating architectural decisions, ideally including frontend technology migrations or consolidation work
* An awareness of performance, accessibility and user experience considerations, and the ability to collaborate effectively with designers to bring those values into the work
